With cooler weather moving in, I’m drinking more coffee. I’ve discovered Greek coffee, which is lower in caffeine and more healthy than the drip variety. It’s nice to have time to sit and savor a cup in the morning before the day crowds in.
Reading is what I missed most when my schedule squeezed my time tighter than a cowpoke’s lasso on a bucking bronco’s neck. If you’re one of my fantasy fans, turn that into welke claws closing to trap a hapless victim. Romantic suspense readers can imagine a killer’s net…. But I digress.
If you ever wind up in a reading slump, like I did, I recommend joining a group that reads. This might be a book club, church group, or another gathering of minds. Having accountability has helped me to reestablish a daily reading habit. Want to know what I’m reading now?
