I have found this quote to be accurate. Right now I’m on a hard deadline for Stagecoach to Liberty, book three of the Montana Gold series, which is why this month’s reader news is fashionably late.
I have a love-hate relationship with deadlines. They help me focus and increase my productivity when they aren’t distracting me and keeping me awake at night.

Epic Fantasy
I’ve received my publisher’s requested edits of DawnKing (Tales of Faeraven, book 4), which I will attend to immediately following the deadline for Stagecoach to Liberty. I just received the galley copy of Sojourner (Tales of Faeraven, book 3). I’ll let you know when I have a release date.
What’s next for the epic fantasy genre? An idea for a new fantasy series has been percolating in my mind for several years. I’ll tell more about this in the future.
