I’m excited to announce some fun changes at the site that I think you’ll enjoy. In the months to come, I’ll be focusing on reading and readers. I’ve made a good start to my goal of providing even more of an immersive experience for readers between my website and books.
Providing an Immersive Experience for Readers
You may recall that after being hacked, I had to take down all the book extra sites, since it would cost too much to hire an internet security firm to protect them all. I said at that time I would move all the content to their own areas of my website so they could all be protected under one website with one security fee. It’s taken a while, but I’m happy to announce that Fantasy Worlds, Historical Worlds, and Mysterious Worlds are up and running!
Not all the content is up yet, but little by little, I’ll move it back. I’m loving how the website is turning out. I may be prejudiced, but I happen to think it’s better than ever. Ideas are perking about where to go with this, but I’ll hold off making those announcements until I’ve thought everything through and evaluated the practicalities.
I offer a lot of content free for public consumption, but I’ve decided to make the Creative Worlds of Janalyn Voigt password protected for subscribers only. I wanted to give my readers something all their own, and this is it.
Want to read my diary? If you haven’t yet discovered my literary wayfarer journals with updates on what I’m writing now, I hope you’ll check them out. They definitely come from the heart.
Book Projects
By the time you read this, I’ll be hard at work writing Deceptive Tide, a romantic suspense novel set on Orcas Island in the San Juans. For book extras pertaining to this novel, be sure to visit Mysterious Worlds, and then click the San Juan Islands image to go into that area of the site. You can follow my progress as I attempt to write this book in a month (yes, really) by reading this month’s literary wayfarer journals.
As always, thanks for reading!
